Finding The Best Golf Swing

November 23rd, 2009

I’m no expert on the game of golf, but I do have a love of the game, and recently I have been able to find “my” best golf swing. You would not know how much more I enjoy my golf now that I am shooting some respectable scores.

Now I haven’t got the perfect golf swing, but who needs the perfect swing. There are probably only a handful of players in the world who could lay claim to that.

I’m guessing that you have experienced a lot of the frustrations in your golf game that I have. Those days when you feel like you’re on track for a good score and all of a sudden the wheels fall off. You hook one off the tee. Next shot you fail to clear the rough. You then get on the fairway, only to overshoot the green with your next shot.

All of a sudden the round that you were hoping to be in the low eighties, is heading for 100. Wouldn’t you like to be consistently shooting low scores, and playing down the middle of the fairway all day, instead of looking for your ball in the rough.

I used to have a really simple golf swing until one of my playing partners gave me one of those unwanted golf swing tips. I will never forget that day. He told me that I would get more distance if I lengthened my back swing. Two years later my handicap had gone from 11 out to 21 and my game was a disaster. I was embarrassed to play with my normal golf buddies because my game was so bad.

I was literally tearing my hair out looking for a way to get my game back on track.

Have you ever been there? Taking golf lessons and spending time on the practice fairway trying to find some consistency and trying to improve your golf swing. Have you arrived at the course looking forward to a great day, and got home wishing that you had not left the house?

Golf wasn’t meant to be so frustrating. I think.

I knew that I had the ability to hit the ball well. I just had no consistency at all. One afternoon after work I played a quick nine holes with a friend before dark. I was two over for the nine holes. I really brought my best golf swing that day.

Three days later I played in the Saturday competition and was ready make a statement. Boy a lot can change in three days. After an OK start, I finished with a 94, seven over my handicap.

I continued to try to improve my golf swing basics. I worked on the correct golf grip, and read books and magazines on how to improve your golf swing. This was in addition to fairly regular golf lessons.

My game wasn’t improving a lot, but at least it was not going backwards. I was still getting frustrated that my friends were all consistently scoring at least 10 shots better than I was.

One night a couple of months ago I came across something that has changed my game immensely. It has also changed my life in a small way because now I don’t go home angry after an embarrassing round of golf.

After years and years of struggling on the golf course, I have now found my best golf swing. In the last three months my handicap has gone from 16 to 9. Two weeks ago I shot a 76 and my buddies could not believe it. Even I was a little shocked at how much I have improved in such a short time.

I am hitting the ball straighter and further than I have ever hit it before. My consistency is vastly improved and my confidence is sky high. I only wish I had found this a lot earlier.

The Simple Golf Swing is the secret to the improvement in my game. If you are looking for some help to find your best golf swing, I thoroughly recommend you take a look at it too.

The Simple Golf Swing is the best way to dramatically improve your game. Take a look for yourself.
